Well beaten in bumpers at Down Royal and Thurles last year (six months between runs) and will need to improve over this longer trip to get involved on return.
Beat 51L in a 2m bumper at Tramore last month, in keeping with previous efforts in three outings. Tackles longer trip now with hopes limited on form.
Lightly-raced six-year-old was beaten more than 50L in a hurdles contest at Punchestown over this trip last month. Well held in pair of 2m bumpers around this time last year. Has to find more now back on the level.
Has gone close in bumpers, with close second over 2m on good ground at Thurles in November of particular interest in the context of this race. Stays this far and entitled to go well.
Beaten to the tune of 24L in a bumper at Punchestown in November on sole outing, gets a tongue strap for this longer journey and improvement isn't ruled out. Worth market check.
Trailed home more than 100L in arrears on only sighting in a Limerick bumper at Christmas over 2m2f. Needs better ground to bring out considerable improvement.
Has struggled in all five starts under rules thus far, latest seeing him completely tailed off in a bumper over 2m3f at Kilbeggan 17 days ago. Hard to see where the positives are.
A €15,000 3yo Flemensfirth gelding, he was pulled up in a point-to-point in March 2016 and hasn't been sighted since. Best watched unless market tells a different story.
Troubled sort, failed to complete in four point-to-points last year and has had problems. First outing under rules since January 2015. Would be a big surprise to see him in the mix when it matters.
Represents powerful connections and this one ran well on debut, despite being very weak in the market beforehand, when second to Ballyegan Hero at Tramore in a maiden hurdle. This looks a bit easier and given market drift there, may well have run better than expected. Clear chance of going one better.
Rainwatch gelding didn't pose any threat in last month's debut in 2m bumper at Fairyhouse, may improve for the run but has plenty to find to lay down a challenge.
Has run in four bumpers at up to 2m3f already this year, showing some promise in latest of those at Cork last month. Potential to grab a place here perhaps.
Was in trouble quickly on debut at Cork in November in 2m bumper and finished tailed off last of eight runners. Has plenty improvement to find but the booking of Codd is noted and market check may reveal more.
Return from a layoff last month at Fairyhouse over this trip was underwhelming as she weakened more than half-a-mile out and trailed home. Plenty to prove on third start.

TORRENT DES MOTTES was weak in the betting on debut over hurdles at Tramore but defied that to finish a good second, clear of the remainder, for the champion trainer. It will be interesting to see if he's more positive in the market here but, regardless, he appears to have a good opportunity of getting off the mark. The Meade pair of Calicojack and Mr Showtime are noted while Thinkinginmysleep would have claims on last month's Kilbeggan effort if able to bounce back. Charlotte Wells has plenty to find on form but is worth noting in the market give the champion amateur is booked.
