Typical improver for this stable last season, winning four times despite shooting up the weights. Has to cope with another 14lb rise, but has few miles on the clock and is much respected. Entered in this week's Chester Cup.
Has shown much improved form since being gelded, winning two of his four subsequent starts. Ran well when fourth of nine in a quite valuable race at Kempton last time and is likely to be in the mix again.
Improving type who had little difficulty in winning handicaps at this track in December and February. Just held over further at Lingfield last time, but returns to her optimum trip and surface and seems primed to run a big race.
Three wins from 18 AW starts, but the last of them was in February, 2016, and recent runs have not seen him in his best light. Takes on some progressive rivals and wears blinkers for the first time in a bid to find some improvement.
Forecasts
Velvet Revolution (1/1), Cartwright (3/1), Lost The Moon (3/1), Dakota City (12/1)
There is no obvious pacesetter, but it would not be a surprise were Dakota City to lead in his first-time blinkers. Cartwright is much respected despite top weight and Velvet Revolution is also on the upgrade, but LOST THE MOON seems to love this course and drops back to her ideal trip.
