Proved a taking C&D winner last season but didn't really back that up in Group company at the end of last season at Newbury. Shade disappointing on return to action at Doncaster last month and has a bit to prove now but there should be more to come this season and his trainer holds a 19.87% strike-rate around here.
Running to a respectable effort over hurdles this season but this mark looks a little beyond him returned to the Flat. Has won around here and his trainer has a good strike-rate when teaming up with this jockey but yard have been a little quiet and this looks like a competitive contest.
Won his maiden around here but hasn't managed to win since and he's had an interrupted career. Struggled on his return at Newcastle last month and while he could come on for that, he has a bit to prove.
Has proved frustrating to follow (beaten favourite or second favourite on five of his last six starts) and is creeping up the handicap without winning. Clearly not a straightforward customer either and often blows his chance from the stalls or can take a keen hold in his races. Trainer can get these sorts to come good and he's run well fresh before but he's without doubt a risky proposition.
Capable middle-distance handicapper who hacked up by 10L at Newbury in August. Returned to same track for hurdles bow and created a good impression despite a blunder two out when winning comfortably. Can be a little hit and miss but not ruled out if he's on a going day.
Justified sustained ante-post market support when winning easily in a valuable Kempton handicap. Arrives here in search of a hat-trick having previously won by 7L at Wolverhampton and 10lb rise for his most recent win may not be enough to stop him while there's no obvious reason why he won't be as good on turf as he is on the AW. Trainer and jockey have a 24.24% strike-rate when teaming up together; should go well.
Useful on his day for David Lanigan but has showed nothing in three starts for this yard, tailed off last when last seen at Newbury on return from an absence and trainer has made a quiet start to the season.
Arrives on a career high mark after pushing Uae Prince all the way at Ripon last time. Missed the break again on that occasion and while he usually gives his running when he gets a clean start, that's far from guaranteed and there looks to be ones who are better handicapped in this line-up.
Goes well on fast ground and wasn't beaten far when runner-up at Epsom when last seen. Should go well if he gets a decent pace to run at and trainer has been in fair form in recent weeks.
Seemed to appreciate the switch to AW when winning narrowly at Lingfield two starts back but resulting mark is no more than fair, as proven by his third-placed effort at that same course last time. Others preferred on his first start in 2017.
Didn't need to improve to win at Wolverhampton last time out but couldn't have won any more impressively and the runner-up has managed to get his head in front since. Level of form is a little uninspiring but he's capable of progress and trainer has a good record with horses returning from a break and having their first run in a handicap; interesting player.
Yet to win in seven starts and hard to say he looks well-handicapped in any way. Needs the switch to faster ground to bring about plenty of improvement.

Frontiersman (5/2), Big Country (7/2), Mainstream (6/1), Mustajeer (9/1), Final (10/1), Banditry (10/1), Cosmeapolitan (14/1), Going Up (16/1), Beardwood (18/1), Top Tug (25/1), Ravens Quest (33/1), Lord Napier (50/1), Warrior Of Light (66/1)
BIG COUNTRY looks capable of completing a hat-trick after his easy win at Kempton last time. Banditry has a good record on faster ground and there was nothing wrong with his runner-up effort at Epsom last time out while Going Up is an unexposed sort who could prove ahead of his mark on handicap debut.
- Big Country
- Banditry
- Going Up
