Not easy to get right but posted a respectable effort last time out and has a handy draw if he can use that as a platform. Dangerous to read too much into his handy current mark as he hasn't won since August 2013 - others look more predictable.
Been cut some slack by the handicapper in comparison to his career best. However, he is still a maiden on turf and needs to conclusively prove he can handle racing away from the AW tracks.
Yard has a 17% strike-rate in the last fortnight, which this fellow helped to enhance with a win a Ripon just over a fortnight ago. He steps up in grade and has a 3lb higher mark to contend with, so needs to be on his A-game. But he is thriving on being kept busy and cannot confidently be ruled out. Very much respected in this company.
May have gone over the top for the season when last seen on turf, but has been in decent form since returning on the AW. His latest second at Newcastle was boosted when the winner brushed aside a 6lb higher mark next time out; so very feasible this fellow can emulate the feat on a lesser level. Place claims at least.
Won a maiden at Sandown for Richard Hannon but was clobbered with a mark of 81 and failed to deliver next time out. Subsequently made a respectable debut for his new connections after transferring to a new yard; but more on here and has a bit to find with Magical Effect.
Got off the mark at the first time of asking but took a long time to dish out a repeat dose. Also struggled off this sort of mark last season and, having been off since December, the suspicion is that he may need the outing.
Comes here on the back of a couple near misses on the AW but is up in grade and has never won on turf; so now has something to prove.
Only win came over 5f but has been effective and placed over this extra furlong. May have needed the run last time out and could be a different proposition if he has tightened up. One to monitor in the betting and could represent good value to make the frame.

A tough one to call but MAGICAL EFFECT has a consistent profile and, given that he had a bit in hand at the line at Ripon last time out, a 3lb higher mark may not be enough to stop him. Wilde Extravagance may have needed the run when down the field here last weekend, so is worth noting for signs of support this time around, while Art Obsession has been in good heart on the AW and, as his latest start is working out well, he is another that shouldn't be underestimated. Taskeen will be dangerous once he hits a realistic mark but one for the notebook this time up.
