No win on the Flat since winning a Salisbury maiden on debut in 2014, but has won a novice hurdle recently and clearly retains some ability. Looks to be on a fair mark if able to transfer that jumps form now back on the level.

No win since debut in 2015, and that came on heavy ground. Career has been interrupted since, with five runs in the interim. Returns from a break now having run tamely when last seen at Newmarket in October, and there are too many questions surrounding her to be confident.

Easy winner at Newcastle last time despite running green and looked exactly the type to continue showing further improvement. Opening mark looks fair and she has the assistance of a top jockey in the saddle, and so is the one to beat.

Decent victory at Kempton when last seen in February, but is 4lb higher now for only a narrow victory, which seems somewhat harsh. Trip, course and ground should all be fine for her, though, so she could go well.

Two victories have both come on the turf, most recently at Southwell in April over shorter than this. Interesting to see how she does stepped up in trip, but needs to prove herself on turf.

Forecasts

Vuela (11/10), Langlauf (7/2), Turning The Table (9/2), Jelly Monger (7/1), Star Of Lombardy (15/2)

Verdict

If continuing with the improvement she showed for her first to second start, this should be fairly easy for VUELA. She won in good style at Newcastle last time and looks an interesting prospect for Luca Cumani, with Jamie Spencer booked for the first time. She has by far the most potential in the field, ahead of Jelly Monger, who has run some races over hurdles recently and could go well if transferring that form back to the Flat, and Langlauf, who should have conditions to suit.
  1. Vuela
  2. Jelly Monger
  3. Langlauf
