Still looking for her first win and runs for a yard that aren't exactly hitting their straps at the moment. Has run some sound races but others hold more scope.
Speedy filly who took a while to get off the mark but did so in a Newcastle maiden in February. The Bath race that she finished fourth in last time out looked a little stronger than this and she's not to be written off here.
Formerly with William Haggas (had four runs for that yard) and gelded over the winter his best run since his debut came last time out over 6f at Ripon. The first-time tongue tie may well have helped and it will be interesting to see if he can build on that run here back over 5f.
Has always looked as though she could win off this sort of mark and showed that she could be useful on this grade after nearly making all at Catterick last week. Will be 3lb higher in future races and this speedy filly could be well suited by this sharp 5f from a good draw.
Versatile sort tactically having made all to win a nursery on the AW last year and showed up relatively well when fourth on his reappearance run at Catterick (held-up) over 5f. Sure to have come on for that run and should still be competitive off this mark.
Not run in a handicap on turf but has shown some consistent form in AW handicaps over 5f this winter. Would have a chance if taking to the turf again although he probably doesn't have much in hand off this mark.
In the context of this race she looks exposed having had plenty of chances so far in handicaps. Better effort last time out in first-time cheekpieces but still needs to show a little extra here.
Five runs so far have barely seen her raise a decent effort and the first-time visor will need to make a big difference for her to take a hand here.
Forecasts
Flawlessly (9/4), Lady Cristal (7/2), Prazeres (4/1), Hamidans Girl (13/2), Royal Celebration (9/1), Jorvik Prince (14/1), La Haule Lady (16/1), Henrietta's Dream (150/1)
Some speedy individuals on display here but the best form in this looks to be held by FLAWLESSLY who showed some fine speed last time out and is berthed to attack here. Most of the others look to have had plenty of chances for the handicapper to peg them although Lady Cristal could well improve a little on her good run at Bath last time out. Royal Celebration and Jorvik Prince are both worthy of respect and if the tongue-tie works as well again it’s not hard seeing Prazeres getting involved in a competitive heat.
- Flawlessly
- Lady Cristal
- Jorvik Prince
