Form of her Southwell victory looks suspect and the runner-up has done nothing to advertise it either. Looks vulnerable off a 6lb higher mark and having been tailed off in hotter company last time.

Record stands at 7-62 but he only has one win in his last 26. Has now dropped to his last winning mark and signs were more encouraging last time. Yard have been going well and had a winner at Towcester yesterday.

C&D winner who has a patchy record. Stable are in good form just now and he is 2lb below his last winning mark. Prone to errors and can be a bit moody.

Winner of a hurdle in Ireland but showed little there over fences. Makes debut after a year's absence for a stable that are going well at the moment. Worth a check in the market.

Forecasts

Brown Bear (11/10), Harry Hunt (9/4), Golanova (5/2), Dawnieriver (5/2), Minella Tweet (4/1), Jay Are (8/1), De Blacksmith (12/1), Venetian Lad (14/1)

Verdict

Gary Moore is well represented here. The market should be informative with Jay Are the one who makes most appeal if there is a positive move behind him. Brown Bear is a lazy type who does not always find much off the bridle. His yard have a good record in this but HARRY HUNT appeals as a more likely type. The ten-year-old is more difficult to win with nowadays but the signs were more encouraging when dropped to this mark at Wetherby last time. This will take little winning and the booking of a good 3lb claimer makes him all the more attractive with the yard going well.
  1. Harry Hunt
  2. Jay Are
  3. Brown Bear
