Winner (awarded the race in the stewards room) at Thurles in March 2016 but all downhill since, finishing well beaten on most recent starts. Possibly one for handicaps down the line but plenty to fine here.
Not seen out since last November when trying this trip for the first time, and although finishing midfield, was never really in the contest. Not really progressing and may need this after a break. Others preferred.
Finished second to Holly Flight here two starts back, narrowly denied after finishing his race off well, but disappointing on latest start at Cork. Back under professional handling here and addition of blinkers should help the situation, so looks a player in a weak contest.
Best run over hurdles so far came at Cork last time where he finished a close-up fifth after appearing to not quite get home over three miles, so this small drop back looks a positive move. Should be a player if building on that effort.
Not a bad effort at Tramore two starts back, finishing a close fifth, but took a backwards step on latest start. Needs this for a handicap mark and there has to be a question over the suitability of the trip too. Others look stronger today.
Far from disgraced on debut, the penny dropping late as she stayed on into midfield in a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle. Wouldn't need much more here to challenge for the places, at least, and any market support would be interesting.
Yet to complete in three starts in point-to-points and no realistic chance of taking this. Needs others to badly underperform to get involved.
Forecasts
Fly Rory Fly (1/1), Polymath (15/8), Rock Lobster (7/1), Miss Rose (8/1), Arena Seven (20/1), Chubi Chekker (25/1), Pappapappawhiskey (50/1)
Nothing has a strong profile here, and small stakes are advised. POLYMATH might find this trip more to her liking after not quite getting home over further last time and looks the one to beat on that effort. Fly Rory Fly needs a moderate effort last time out forgiving but the headgear may help. Miss Rose holds claims to some prizemoney if building on her debut effort.
