Winner of a three-runner point-to-point in April, he also has two wins under Rules to his credit but nothing in his form suggests he is crying out for this marathon trip.
Useful performer on his day and got off the mark for his current yard at Ffos Las in February. Outclassed in the Foxhunters' Chase at the Festival last time, but this is easier and stamina is his long suit.
Loves a stamina test as he showed when second in this race last year. Fourth to Pantxoa at Newton Abbot last month, he will do well to turn the tables even though the extra distance will help.
First run for this stable when winning at Newton Abbot, but he did jump right at times and would not want to be doing that over 4 miles at a left-hand track. One of the form choices, but has stamina to prove.
Finished 11th in the Foxhunters and bounced back to form when a convincing winner of a point-to-point at Chaddesley Corbett last month. Fourth in this last year and held by Join Together on that running.
Three times a winner in 23-point-to-points, he was placed over four miles around this time last year. His level of form does not meet up to that of some of his rivals.
Not getting any younger, but remains competitive and showed his well being when third to the talented Ask The Weatherman at Trebudannon last time. Tongue tied for the first time.
Has won his last two point-to-points over three miles, but has never tried anything approaching this distance so stamina has to be taken completely on trust.
Boasts a proud record of 10 wins in 19 point-to-points and has looked as good as ever recently. Beat Iron Chancellor at Cherrybrook last month and shapes as though this trip will be within his compass.
Has won five point-to-points, but has been unable to get his head in front this year, which suggests he will struggle in this company.
Pulled up in the Foxhunters, he was subsequently beaten a long way at Hexham and makes no appeal on those displays.
Has been in excellent form in point-to-points, but failed to impress when only fourth in a hunter chase at Wetherby in February. Won a point over 4m 1f last time, so stamina is not an issue. Wears cheekpieces for the first time.
Winning hurdler when trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies, he plies his trade in point-to-points these days and has done nothing to suggest a race of this nature is within his grasp.
Enigmatic character who can get well behind in his races, but he has been on better behavior recently and beat a talented rival at Garnons in March. Has always looked as though he needs this sort of trip and he could collect if able to keep in touch.
Has been around the block a few times and is probably not as good as he was. His record suggests stamina is not an issue, though, and he will get every assistance from the saddle.
Only fair form in point-to-points and other contenders have much stronger claims.
Winning point-to-pointer and hurdler, but has shown little at long odds for his current yard and will do well to land a blow.

Some battle-hardened warriors contest this and although SYBARITE has the habit of getting behind in his races there is every chance that this stamina test will suit him admirably. Last year's runner-up Join Together can go well again, but has to turn round recent form with Pantxoa. .One Conemara has proven stamina and may benefit from the application of cheekpieces.
- Sybarite
- Pantxoa
- Join Together
