Had hoped for more since going handicapping on better ground. Drops in distance and tongue-tie fitted. Not ruled out with yard 11-39 with hurdlers here.
Beginning to look one paced nowadays and others are potentially better handicapped. Yard are 7-25 here over the past five seasons.
Looking better since sent handicapping with cheekpieces fitted. Those efforts suggest this stiff 2m could be ideal although there is a suspicion he may be temperamental.
Suited to fast ground and a winner at Plumpton in September off a 4lb lower mark. Has needed two or three runs following previous winter breaks before being ready to win and his latest effort at Taunton suggests that appears to be the case again.
Winner at Wincanton last year but has not been seen since disappointing next time. Form of that victory does not amount to much and he is best watched here.
Recent form over hurdles and on the Flat suggest his abilities are on the wain. Better ground could inspire an improved effort and he is worth a check in the market.
Beat a subsequent winner at Ffos Las in June and ran well thereafter. Having her first run for six months but has gone well fresh previously and stable's horses are going well. Rider 4-14 for the yard (further six placed).
Record stands at 0-49 in all spheres. Has dropped to a career low mark but that profile, coupled with all that headgear, suggests he is one to treat with caution.
Stable are in good form and he was not winning out of turn last time when landing a mediocre race. Has more to do under a penalty over this shorter trip. It is a long time since he was competitive off this mark and others make more appeal.
Yet to make the frame in 10 previous starts in mixed company and makes little appeal from out of the handicap.

Dan Skelton saddles Sulamani The Late who has made the frame in similar company on his last two starts. This stiff track could be the making of him but he would make more appeal if his battling qualities were proven. Having shown signs of temperament in the past it may be wiser to side with LONDONIA with the champion jockey a significant booking by her trainer. She goes well fresh and the form of her Ffos Las victory, off 4lb lower, has worked out fine. Ujagar and Mount Vesuvius face stiffer tests than when winning minor contests whilst Champion Chase may do better now dropping in distance.
