Shown little in two bumpers although there was modest improvement last time. Makes hurdling debut for a yard that are 11-39 in this discipline at the track.
Modest middle-distance performer on the Flat. Conditions would have been too testing on his hurdling debut two months ago but nevertheless his hurdling was inadequate.
Nicely bred and has improved with each run. Form of his latest run looks fragile with the favourite failing to perform and the winner comfortably holding Nick Gifford's charge before an untidy jump at the last. Drop in distance is not sure to suit either.
Winner on the AW in December but tailed off in both starts over hurdles. Trainer 3-11 here and rider 10-52 on his hurdlers.
Rated below Captain George and Elusive Cowboy on Flat form. Makes his hurdling bow for top yard who are 5-23 at the track and 7-38 in the past fortnight.
Has been busy on the AW this winter winning one race in November. His last two runs indicate a loss of form and suggest a watching brief is the best advice.
Has struggled in all starts to date including over C&D on similar ground last time. Yard do well here but she needs to show more before she can be followed with any confidence.

Mister Showman is interesting on his hurdling debut for the Skeltons in a race that will take little winning. He is the obvious one to monitor in the market but SOMEWHERE TO BE has already indicated he is capable of winning a race at this level. He showed ability in bumpers on quick ground but all three of his runs over hurdles have been with give underfoot. These include a promising sixth in a hot novice at Newbury before his stable went through a lean spell. His latest effort at Southwell looks better when bearing in mind the winner and second have both won a further two races each. Conditions look ideal and this represents his easiest task to date over hurdles. Project Mars is improving steadily and, although the form of his latest run flatters him, he looks the pick of the rest.
