Carries the mandatory 6lb penalty but is well treated in comparison to last season's form. should be a smooth conveyance for an inexperienced rider but hasn't won back-to-back races since his juvenile campaign.

Got tired on her reappearance at Redcar last month and can be forgiven the run. However, she is still 4lb higher than her last winning mark and requires a personal best to add to her tally.

Been in cracking form since joining his current yard and, despite being placed in relatively easy races, he has risen to the challenge in each of his last two starts with aplomb. This doesn't look much tougher and, given that Connor Murtagh was in the plate last time out, the partnership already has a valuable edge over a few of the rest. Also noteworthy that he has only gone up 4lb in the ratings.

Won well under today's pilot in a similar race at Wolverhampton last month and is only 3lb higher on this occasion. However, this is his first start on turf for quite a while and he needs to prove he can still cope with the switch in surfaces (and drop back to the minimum trip) at his age.

Second guessing Mick Easterby's plans will give you a headache of epic proportions but this fellow would appear to be the stable's second string. The gelding does, however, have claims in his own right and would be dangerous to ignore; especially if he attracts the interest of the wider betting public.

Has a bit to find with Space War after they met over 6f at Wolverhampton last time out and hard to see him reversing the form over this less than ideal trip.

Held his form well on the AW of late but is still 4lb higher than for his last win. Needs everything to go his way on these terms but is effective at the trip and should like the ground.

Won a C&D maiden back in 2015 but has been in the handicapping wilderness since then. He is, however, relatively lightly raced and at least has a proven liking for the track. Not an obvious contender on just his second start for a new yard but makes some appeal for a speculative punt to make the frame in a weak race.
