Well beaten on debut in a division of the Brocklesby at Doncaster on good-to-soft ground a month ago. Likely to have improved for that experience and yard have a 25% strike-rate recently (2/8).
Unraced son of Foxwedge and a relatively cheap purchase having cost 12,000 gns at the sales last year. Half-brother to a few winning sprinters and worth a check in the market here.
Free going to post when finishing last of seven on debut at Bath over 5f (firm) last month and interesting to see how he fares with a hood applied for this.
Unraced son of Elnadim purchased for €15,000 as a yearling last September. Yard have a 30% strike-rate with their two-year-old's on turf this season (6/20) and likely to play a leading role here.
Unraced daughter of Fast Company and bought cheaply for €2,500 as a yearling last November. Worth a check in the market on her racecourse debut.
Ran green when beaten 10L into third on her debut at Kempton last month. Likely to have improved for the run and worth noting in this contest.
Beaten 10½L when finishing sixth of seven on her racecourse debut over 5f at Bath (firm) last month. Yard 0/5 with their two-year-old's in recent seasons.
Unraced daughter of Trans Island purchased for £2,000 at the yearling sales in October. Dam a maiden half-sister to five winners including winning sprinter Forest Dancer.
Forecasts
Our Kid (9/4), Captain Kissinger (9/4), Data Protection (9/2), Shesgotthelot (15/2), Good Night Out (8/1), Xaar Island (16/1), Storm Doris (33/1), Mirek (33/1)
Richard Fahey has made a good start with his juvenile's and his representative here OUR KID can make a winning debut. This doesn't look the strongest contest on paper and the selection can add to his trainer's total of seven two-year-old winner's so far in 2017. Data Protection is related to a few winning sprinters and is by a speedy sire himself and can claim second ahead of Captain Kissinger who can be expected to have improved for his debut run in the Brocklesby last month.
- Our Kid
- Data Protection
