Has taken a while for him to warm to the task at hand but a 3L beating into third at Wolverhampton last time in maiden was a career best, and has clearly come on plenty compared to his early runs. There would be a slightly concern that he is better on a synthetic surface, however.
Has run two fair races on his first two racecourse appearances, including when beaten only 1½L at Bath last time. There should be more improvement to come and the slight step up in trip should help as well.
Could enjoy this trip on pedigree and goes for some respected connections, though his dam didn't have a fantastic record in two-year-old maidens. Still worth a check in the market on debut.
Has run two fair races on his first two racecourse appearances for a top trainer. Down in trip now but will need to improve plenty in order to threaten here.
Experienced trouble in-running on debut at Sandown last August, and is now upped in trip with a hood applied. If enjoying a clear run this time he could go close, as long as the absence doesn't prove to be a problem.
Form from her first few races is a mostly mixed bag but could get competitive here if reproducing the best of that on her first start above a mile. Needs to overcome and absence since October, however.
Finished fifth of six runners on debut but was beaten 26L and showed little that day. Will have to prove she has improved plenty on her turf debut.
By Group 1 winning sprinter Myboycharlie but out of a dam of little account and doesn't rate a likely type on her racecourse debut.

Desert Explorer (3/1), Meteor Light (7/2), Hernandes (7/2), Lord Commander (4/1), Armagnac (4/1), Harmonise (9/2), Khitaamy (25/1), Wicker (33/1), La Goulue (100/1)
This could go to DESERT EXPLORER, who has run two fair races so far, including when beaten only relatively narrowly at Bath last time out. This should be easier race for him and he comes up against some unexciting maidens and some unlikely newcomers. Those who could have a say include Meteor Light, who met with trouble in-running on debut at Sandown last August and should go better here if overcoming the absence, and Armagnac, who has improved since some lackluster early runs, but needs to transfer the best of his form onto turf here.
- Desert Explorer
- Meteor Light
- Armagnac
