Would likely have the beating of this field at best but returns here from 369 on the sidelines so there have to be questions over ability to concede weight all round.
Modest record of one win from 23 attempts over fences, has failed to complete in two most recent outings and so comes into this with questions to answer after another subpar effort at Fairyhouse last month over 2m6f.
Hints of promise in four runs this year, three of which have come since March, just needs to iron out the odd jumping issue to have a chance. Useful claimer shouldn't harm his chances either.
Modest profile, was out of sorts over timber when last spotted at Galway in October. Returns over fences and doesn't appeal on current mark as being especially well handicapped. Needs to find something more.
Yet to open account over fences but ran best race over these obstacles at this track in September over 2m3f. Limerick return to action last month was acceptable and has chance in this line-up off 5lb lower than previous course visit.
Didn't find a whole pile when the pressure was applied last month at Limerick over slightly longer trip. That was second run back off a break and while getting 2lb back now, handicapper probably still has his measure.
Now 11-years-old, scored from a 2lb lower mark at Downpatrick last June over this sort of trip, beaten under 5L at Tramore last month on reappearance and couldn't be ruled out with any degree of certainty.
Latest success arrived in a 2m handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse in October off a rating of 110, has toiled in three starts over fences thus far but could offer more now going handicapping.
Now 25 runs since last success, was beaten a long way at Fairyhouse in December over this trip when last spotted. Plenty to find on form.

Forecasts
Eight Till Late (10/3), William Du Berlais (7/2), Hello Sweetie (4/1), Rufino (4/1), The Mooch (5/1), Oighear Dubh (6/1), Ballyfinboy (8/1), Killer Crow (10/1), Definite Earl (10/1), Afatcat (12/1), Gentleman Duke (20/1), The Shepherd King (20/1)
Rufino ended a long run without a win by scoring at Tramore last time out, but that was a weak contest and the 8lb penalty should be enough to ground his progress. Gentleman Duke has a year's absence to defy here but would take beating in this line-up if able to produce his best stuff on the back of the layoff. The Mooch has been suggesting he'll throw in a notable performance lately and is helped by a claim here while handicap debutant Definite Earl is another worth considering. EIGHT TILL LATE however is rated 5lb lower than when he narrowly failed to open his account over fences at this track over a longer trip in September. He ran a fair race on reappearance at Limerick and might be able to breakthrough now back at this venue.
- Eight Till Late
- Definite Earl
- Rufino
