Respectable third on return from short break over 2m at Limerick recently off this mark sporting first-time tongue strap (retained here). Goes up in trip and should be competitive.

Mauna Keab138
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-10| J: Danny Mullins| T: Ms M Mullins| OR:  93

Disappointed when upped in trip for return to hurdles at Thurles in March. Still a maiden, drops 2lb and get first-time blinkers now in bid to end that stat.
3

Western Goose97
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-10| J: B Browne(7)| T: V C Ward| OR:  93
10/1
Sprung a 16/1 surprise at Fairyhouse in January over this trip, hasn't run since and faces a 7lb hike for this contest and may struggle to repeat the trick.

Rebel Cryp,t14
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-5| J: B T O'Connell| T: N Lee| OR:  88
10/1
Been out of form over both hurdles and fences of late, reverts to the former now having been beaten 44L over the larger obstacles at Fairyhouse last month. Plenty to prove.

7/1
Eight-race maiden over timber, cheekpieces added last time but didn't bring about dramatic change in fortune (retained here). Needs to show some kind of spark.

Granny Biddy187
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-4| J: Brian Hayes| T: M Winters| OR:  87

Mare signed off last year with pair of decent efforts at Clonmel, latest when third of 17 over this sort of trip. Those efforts hinted of better things to come and so she is worth monitoring in the market for this return to action.

Run Don't Hidet45
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-2| J: D F O'Regan| T: J Motherway| OR:  85
25/1
Mostly toiled in four maiden hurdles, drop to 2m at Limerick in March brought about nominal improvement, needs a bit more now handicapping but don't rule it out.

Sunset Flow91
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-2| J: G N Fox| T: F J Flood| OR:  85

All three starts under rules have come in maiden hurdles and yet to offer up any positive signs, may do better now handicapping.

Running total of 40 starts under rules haven't yielded a victory, first start for this trainer last month at Fairyhouse yielded much-improved effort to be second of 18, beaten just over 5L. Interesting if building on that.

Grey Mountain Mistp,t12
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-0| J: Paul Townend| T: E Sheehy| OR:  83

Either side of a break, last run for previous yard and first for this trainer have been very encouraging. 2L third of 20 at Tipperary 12 days ago may have more to give off 1lb higher.

Age: 7|  Weight: 10-12| J: L P Dempsey| T: S J Mahon| OR:  81

Unplaced in four maiden hurdles, similar tale last time in handicap bow at Thurles over 2m7f in March. Drops in trip but has it all to prove.

Horse silk
Qeryp146
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: J P O'Sullivan(7)| T: P J Rothwell| OR:  81

Very few positive signs in four runs over flights to date, including on handicap debut over 2m6f at Down Royal in March. Cheekpieces on for first time now.

Carrow Queen30
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-11| J: D J Mullins| T: V T O'Brien| OR:  80

On a long losing run now, wasn't disgraced over 2m4f at Fairyhouse last month however and could build on it here.
14
Horse silk
Country Caperst97
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-11| J: Phillip Enright| T: S Ryan| OR:  80

Has failed to make any sort of impression on eight starts to date and trainer has not a winner for over a year.

Unable to hit the frame in seven starts over hurdles thus far, quickly backing out of contention at Cork over 2m4f in December when last seen. Tongue strap on first time now on return to action.

Beaten out of sight in two runs in recent months, latest over 2m at Wexford 25 days ago. Plenty to prove and isn't favoured by weights.

Verdict

Lizzies Champ shaped well last time out at Limerick and is respected going up in distance with a rider on top of his game taking over. Glasson Lad took a huge step in the right direction recently at Fairyhouse and if building on that could at last shed the maiden tag but GRANNY BIDDY signed off last year with two improved efforts and with just seven starts under her belt, the mare could be destined for better things this time in. Grey Mountain Mist is also respected after a good run at Tipperary recently.
  1. Granny Biddy
  2. Lizzies Champ
  3. Grey Mountain Mist
