Won well at Stratford and Exeter last month and raised 11lb as a result. May still be capable opf running a big race though and should be very much in the mix.
In good form over fences last summer but the wheels came off this winter and has switched to timber. No obvious imporvement last time at Ludlow and has plenty to do.
Narrowly beaten when favourite in Huntingdon maiden hurdle four weeks ago. Begins handicap career on feasible mark so any market confidence would be worthy of note.
Fair middle distnace handicapper for Tom Dascombe on F;at. Purchased for 48,000 guineas in October and has run better than finishing positions suggest in novice events. Looks type to do better in handicaps and could be something of a surprise package.
Three decent efforts in novice company this term and looks sure to win a race or two in due course. Cannot be ruled out in a very open contest.
Appeared to hate the soft ground last time out when beaten a long way but had previously shaped with promise. Better surface should help and should be competitive.
Big, strapping horse who won Worcester novice hurdle last summer but disappointed on most subsequent outings. Left trainer George Baker last week and change of scenery might theoretically spark a little improvement.
Won twice for Gordon Elliott a couple of seasons ago but has been out of sorts for the most part since then. Has shown nothing in two outings for new connections and is hard to recommend at present.
Has fallen to a good mark if able to recapture his form of a year ago. Ran an absolute shocker however at Chepstow recently so is hard to make a case for.
Landed a surprise win last time at Stratford in novice company and there may be more improvement to come. Interesting that connections have chosen to take on older horses on handicap bow.

NEWERA looks capable of running well here and is fancied to go well on his debut in handicap company. He was a fair sort on the Flat and looks the type to keep an eye on through the summer campaign. Ashoka looks sure to make a bold bid to land his hattrick and is very much respected although the rise in the weights might be an issue. Jam Session, Spiritual Man and I'llbeyourclown are other well worth considering in an interesting race.
