Tame effort in reappearance at Market Rasen last month suggests that carrying top-weight in this contest will probably be asking too much. Needs to come forward significantly on that run.
Lightly-raced and did enough on handicap debut at Taunton last time to merit respect now upped in trip off a 1lb lower mark. Could have more to offer.
Won a Market Rasen novices' hurdle last year on soft but more recently has been chasing and that has proved fruitless. Back over smaller obstacles now and with yard among the winners he could do better.
Yet to win in 13 attempts under rules and was beaten off a fair way off a 2lb higher mark at Taunton in March, appears to be hold place claims at best in this.
Just the three starts over timber and hasn't shown a great deal to get excited about ahead of this first handicap outing. Goes up significantly in trip.
Is 7lb higher than when scoring in a handicap at Southwell over this trip in September and was disappointing in final start of last year. Champion jockey booked for return to action, one to pay close attention to in the betting.
Back-to-back handicap hurdle win at Fontwell in February/March came over 2m3f. Up 4lb and likely to meet a sounder surface this time but hat-trick chance remains decent.
Stamina should be a forte, she hasn't shown enough in three hurdles runs since a promising debut over 2m3f at Lingfield in December to suggest she is going to make the breakthrough here.
Yet to threaten in five starts over timber, finished third of four runners at Chepstow in March on first run for this yard, showing some potential. Upped in trip now and needs more from somewhere.

Bound Hill is up another 4lb in his bid for a hat-trick here after impressive recent wins at Fontwell and should go well if this sounder surface is no hindrance. Ballymountain Boy shaped well on his handicap debut at Taunton and is a worthy contender but the booking of the champion jockey to partner the returning DEFINITLY GREY may be notable. He's 7lb higher than when scoring at Southwell in the autumn and can take a leading role here if primed to go. Gask Ridge might be the best of the rest on his second start for new trainer.
