Out of his depth in Aintree Grade One earlier in the month but runner-up finish at Doncaster in January on second hurdling start suggests he'll have strong claims of opening his account in this field.
Mixed form in five Irish point-to-point runs before joining this trainer, though was only just denied earlier this month in final outing. One to take note of in the betting for rules bow.
Modest in three Flat runs and hasn't shown a great deal more for switch to hurdling, well held over this C&D last month and makes little appeal on that evidence.
Useful Flat performer, this son of New Approach has to produce more in the finish than was the case in two C&D runs in October and November when not finding as much as had looked likely. Fit from recent AW run.
A seven-time winner on the Flat, those success came in modest company and lacks the class of some of these for debut over jumps.
Struggled in three outings over hurdles this year, all over this trip at Uttoxeter and Warwick. Needs a fair bit of improvement now returning to jumping after a poor effort on AW at Wolverhampton last month.
Runner-up effort at Fontwell in September over slightly longer trip on good ground bodes well, subsequent effort at Newbury in December less promising.
Useful on the Flat for John Ryan and won a Yarmouth handicap off a mark of 76 in October. If he can transfer all his ability from that sphere to this he would be thereabouts in this field.
Didn't achieve a lot in three outings in Flat maidens when in the care of Sir Michael Stoute, interesting to see how market judges him for this hurdles bow in a race where there doesn't appear to be great depth.
Mare has not impressed to date in bumpers or over hurdles, well beaten off over 2m5f at this track in February, limited expectations dropping back in trip.
Flat form was fairly poor but she has showed a little more on her two hurdles outings at Plumpton over this trip, hinting that she may well have some ability in this sphere. Requires more to have a say however.

This looks a decent chance for AMERICAN GIGOLO to open his account, he was in above his depth at Aintree in a Grade One last time but should have learned plenty for the experience and his earlier Doncaster run gives him solid claims in this line-up. New Agenda needs to find a bit more of a finishing flourish but has travelled nicely in his hurdles runs to date and looks the chief threat ahead of newcomers Sir George Somers and Ocean Eleven.
