Yet to win over fences in eleven starts but has placed six times in that sequence, pulled up last time over searching trip, this drop back ought to suit much better.
Won a weak looking point-to-point but has shown nothing under rules in three starts and looks set for another minor role here after toiling at Navan early last month over this trip.
Has had his problems seemingly given infrequency of appearances, form in five starts over hurdles doesn't inspire confidence for this chase bow.
An average maiden hurdle winner in 2015, he has also pocketed a couple of wins on the AW. Well beaten on both chase starts so far this year and hard to see any dramatic turnaround.
Should have learned from chase bow at Navan last month and chance to better now with addition of Russell in the saddle taken to be an advantage. Needs to improve.
Decent hurdler, accruing three wins from ten outings in that sphere and one of the more likely types in this line-up on his chase how for much-respected trainer.
Lightly-raced but talented hurdler, has been plying his trade on the AW at Dundalk over the winter in good enough style and makes chase bow here with cheekpieces on for first time over jumps. One to note.
Just the four starts over timber and lacks the winning experience of some of today's rivals in that sphere, chase bow and likely to learn from it.
Makes chasing bow in this and would do well to match a fair few of his rivals over hurdles, well held in that sphere at Musselburgh when last seen 61 days ago.
Failed to complete in three of four chase starts in 2015, and just the one win from 25 runs over hurdles. Does represent the Elliott team but isn't one of the brightest lights and perhaps safer to look elsewhere on first start since November.
Poor maiden on the Flat, no sign of chance over hurdles and was tailed off when tackling these obstacles for the first time at Kilbeggan last month. Others are preferred now.

Forecasts
Rise Of An Empire (2/1), Art Of Payroll (5/2), Newsworthy (9/2), Winter Lion (5/1), Dallas Cowboy (5/1), Urtheoneiwant (9/1), Steel's Cotton (16/1), Artic Milan (25/1), Galloping Anger (33/1), Don't Be Hasty (40/1), Hatch Hall (50/1), Chelate (66/1)
Art Of Payroll has gone well on occasions before and should be more at home over this shorter trip having run out of puff last time at Fairyhouse. He is a player here while Rise Of An Empire is another to note ahead of this chasing bow for the Meade yard. DALLAS COWBOY has run well in two of four runs for this yard and is forgiven a poor effort at Leopardstown last month as he gets another chance to register. Newsworthy could also step forward on his recent fencing bow at Navan to take a hand in this.
- Dallas Cowboy
- Rise Of An Empire
- Art Of Payroll
