Fair winner of four races on the Flat, not exactly a world beater but could well take to this game now switching. First run for new yard, market can guide expectations.
Ex-Flat performer hasn't set the world on fire in three spins over hurdles since joining this leading yard, may do better now potentially meeting this good ground.
Three time winner on the Flat including in a handicap on good ground at Gowran Park last August. Well beaten in four outings over hurdles for this stable and likely to fair better in handicaps.
A useful sort on the Flat, he'll be sporting a tongue strap now going jumping for the first time and market will serve as best guide to what is expected of him.
Consistent Flat performer, showed some promise on hurdles bow at Downpatrick in March and ought to be suited by this drop back to 2m. May do better.
Promising bumper performer, has so far been unable to replicate that over hurdles, including on return to action over 2m at Navan last month. Represents powerful trainer but appears modest hope.
Thrice-raced maiden over timber, all coming over this C&D. Failed to justify market support here in January and been off since. Not dispensed with just yet.
Beat just one of 12 rivals home over this C&D in January on sole previous racecourse outing in a similar contest. Has to bring something more to the table if hoping for better here.
Six starts over timber without a win but has twice filled the runner-up role over this trip at Navan, may have found 2m4f beyond him at Fairyhouse last month and drop back here ought to suit.
Just the two runs over hurdles so far, perhaps finding the ground/trip weren't to his liking last time at Limerick in December. Better surface now and drops to 2m.
Newcomer in the trainer's own colours, market can guide expectations but yard without a win in 34 runners as of Sunday evening, which has to be a concern.
Struggled in both outings over timber, was 100/1 chance latest at Fairyhouse three weeks ago and never threatened. Up against it again in all likelihood.
Plenty to work on after two maiden hurdle runs at Cork and Tipperary last month, on that evidence he'll struggle to be a factor now.
Runner-up on stable/hurdles bow at Cork last month over this trip, may be capable of better still and on jockey booking appears to be the leading contender of three from the Cullentra team.
Rule of Law gelding booked for first outing on the track in this, only strong support in the market would breed confidence.
Second runner for trainer in this, unable to register in seven starts on the Flat and similarly modest tale from two maiden hurdles over this trip. Hard to be confident coming here.
Mare has hit the frame in two of three previous maiden hurdles, beaten just 6L at Navan last time. Has the scope for better and does appear to be going in the right direction.
Modest record on the level and didn't post any threat when sent off 100/1 in 2m4f maiden at Fairyhouse last month, drops in trip if getting in (First Reserve).
Shown some minor promised in bumpers but requires a good deal more on what will be first time jumping hurdles (Second Reserve).
Tailed off on only previous run, a bumper at Downpatrick and been off nine months ahead of schedule hurdles bow (Third Reserve).

Ornua (15/8), Vanishing Point (9/4), Howluckycanwebe (8/1), King's War (9/1), Comber Mill (10/1), Colwinston (10/1), Shalaman (12/1), Probing (22/1), Mistamel (25/1), Dublin Road (25/1), Toccata Blue (25/1), Dovil's Duel (33/1), Westinmare (33/1), Celebrity Status (33/1), Piranto (40/1), Royal Chorus (40/1), Hatters Hero (50/1), Invincible Zeb (50/1), Boals Corner (50/1), Sierra Law (50/1), Sillogue Pio (50/1), Romantic (66/1), Oromo (66/1)
Ornua possibly didn't enjoy the heavy ground at Limerick in December and has been off since, this better surface and the drop in trip should assist his case. On Flat form, Shalaman is one to consider ahead of this jumps bow and he is worth paying attention to in the market while Vanishing Point may be most likely of the Elliott contenders as he starts all over again following his trainers' title disappointment. KING'S WAR drops back to 2m and has twice finished second over this distance already, he may be able to go one better now. Comber Mill and Colwinston are others to consider in a wide open contest.
- King's War
- Ornua
- Shalaman
