Has been really consistent at 1m2f-1m4f for several seasons and starts today from his last winning mark, when scoring over this trip at Newmarket in August (good to firm). Perhaps not quite as competitive from a few pounds higher since then, but with fitness no issue all looks set for a more productive effort here.
Successful when stepping up to this trip last season, winning twice over it, the latter from a mark of 102. 2lb higher today and this is more like his level than a couple of races that he has contested since, so should be very competitive.
Dual 1m2f winner in Italy and has stepped up well enough to 2m in two attempts since joining current trainer. Now 1lb lower than the best of those runs, and dropped back in trip. Likely to need a fair bit of use made of him, which suits this track. Competitive.
Last year's hat-trick included two wins over C&D (all on good ground), with the last of them from 9lb lower than today. This class of contest has found him out several times and he look up against it again here.

Forecasts
Knights Table (11/10), Fire Fighting (5/2), Tawdeea (11/4), Cymro (3/1), Noble Gift (5/1), Vettori Rules (16/1)
Fire Fighting is back on a winning mark and should be right there in the shake-up once again, while Tawdeea and Vettori Rules are entitled to be competitive from their current marks. However, NOBLE GIFT won this last year from 2lb higher and provided it doesn't dry up any more, he looks to have a great chance of repeating the feat.
