Won his maiden with a bit to spare travelling well and looking open to improvement and was well backed to follow up that run on his handicap debut. Inexperience cost him on that run though (not everything went his way) and he's probably worth another chance on turf and over a mile for the first time.
Just mildly progressive in three AW maidens over trips up to a mile (been positively ridden the last twice). Looks as though he has scope for a little more improvement having been professional in nature when winning last time out and should give a good account on handicap debut.
Hardly looks to be one of the leading lights from the yard with one piece of juvenile form really standing out. That was his second at Yarmouth on his only turf start so far with blinkers (removed here on for the first time). Hard to know what to expect overall on his handicap debut.
One of the more experienced here having had ten outings but yet to win despite some creditable efforts. One of those efforts came last time out when he split a couple of unexposed sorts off 2lb lower. Travels well in his race and one of these may eventually come his way.
Beaten in three maidens at up to a mile and although those were useful form he didn't progress when making his handicap debut last time out when upped in trip to 1m1f. Got the run of things from the front and so far isn't matching what looks a useful pedigree.
Yet to run as a three-year-old and both his best runs and wins as a juvenile came over 6f. Looked unsuited by the move up to 7f on his final start last year which doesn't augur well for his chances over a mile here.
Improved but still looked green and inexperienced on his three runs as a juvenile all on the AW. Looked the type that would go on as a three-year-old and he showed that to be true when shaping well on his handicap/turf debut over a mile at Windsor not getting a clear run and finishing with running left in him.
One who looks to be bubbling under having had just three runs in maidens with the last one being far more promising than the final placing suggests with a lot to like about the run on many levels. A mark of 69 probably underestimates his ability and interestingly he's a brother to Fire Jet who followed a similar pattern for the same yard last year and took off when he went handicapping.
Forecasts
Know Your Limit (9/4), Sidewinder (5/1), Casina Di Notte (6/1), Cloud Dragon (6/1), Muqaatil (7/1), Fear The Fury (8/1), Lunar Jet (11/1), Allux Boy (25/1)
The duo at the foot of the handicap are two that catch the eye with most people probably looking at Know Your Limit as a likely candidate to run well or win this. But LUNAR JET may well have slipped a little under the radar and he’s very interesting on his handicap debut given his background. Cloud Dragon is another with scope still as he makes his handicap debut and he along with Sidewinder and Fear The Fury add to the depth in this race.
- Lunar Jet
- Know Your Limit
- Cloud Dragon
