Looks to be stable's second string on form achieved so far, but would not have to find much to win that battle. Proven on fast ground and over the trip, though looking at the opposition he is going to need some improvement to add to his Fontwell and more recent Plumpton successes.

Debut bumper winner who has run well in all three hurdles starts, breaking his duck in this discipline last time at Ffos Las by a wide margin. Penalised for that, but is official ratings are accurate then he is weighted to win this in receipt of 6lb from his chief rival.

Sole success was in a Wolverhampton claimer when with Marco Botti, though not seen since runner-up in a seller at the same venue in February 2016. Was campaigned at around 7f-1m on the AW, though pedigree suggests that she may get this far, although this looks like a fact finding mission after a lay-off.

Verdict

A microcosm of the champion trainer's title battle here. Paul Nicholls is double-handed and Nicky Henderson relies on one and it is his JAMESON who is favoured to win. The weights are slightly to his advantage, while he is arguably less exposed and can follow-up his Ffos Las success. Copain De Classe looks the big danger, though might find conceding 6lb to his chief rival just too much and while stablemate Peak To Peak is not dismissed lightly, he looks to have to find even more. Master Dancer is the most likely improver of the remainder.
