Won his first two starts over fences before his form rather tailed off after that looking to pay for a busy spell. Break appeared to have done him good when bouncing back to form at Chepstow last time out although was left clear at the last and goes off a 7lb higher mark here. He was idling in front so no surprise to see cheekpieces applied.

Warwick winner in February who seems best at 2m4f. Dam was better at around 3m-3m2f and this may be what he requires nowadays. Not dismissed off what is a fair mark.

On a roll with all three chase successes coming at Exeter since New Year. Has proven marginally less effective elsewhere and needs to produce a career best here.

Has taken advantage of a change of scenery and lowly marks to land three races over hurdles and fences. Has won over this trip at Haydock off a significantly higher mark so potential for a lot more to come with yard continuing in good form.

Forecasts

William Money (13/8), Boa Island (5/2), No Buts (3/1), Only Gorgeous (4/1)

Verdict

A case can be made for all in this. No Buts has the most serious questions to answer in terms of the trip. There is stamina on the dam's side though and he remains interesting with the yard having had a couple of winners recently. Only Gorgeous has been in outstanding form at Exeter but has been a few pounds below those levels at other tracks and he needs to produce a career best. Boa Island is 7lb higher for his Chepstow success but he was only just doing enough that day and cheekpieces will help. WILLIAM MONEY appeals as being potentially the better handicapped of these judged on some of his old form. He boasts very good performances over extreme distances and his yard have been going well.
