Some useful form on the Flat in her native France and gradually coming to hand over hurdles, finishing a 6L third behind Funny Oyster at Plumpton (2m1f, good to soft) last month. Drops to minimum trip after failing over further at Kempton. A further 2lb drop in the weights is welcome if handling this quicker ground.
Has not looked a natural at this game and and is prone to errors. Winner on soft ground on the Flat and yet to encounter going this fast. Blinkers are fitted by trainer who is 4-11 in the past fortnight.
Hard to fathom how she has earned a rating of 94 based on three dreadful runs so far. Beaten 56L in a race won by a 107 rated horse last time. Gets a fast surface for the first time and obviously needs to improve dramatically as a result.
Beginning to look desperately moderate. Yard are 5-19 in the past fortnight but doubtful those good fortunes will be enough.
Has been plying her trade in AW Flat races, having had a brief, unsuccessful flirtation with hurdles in the winters of 2014 and 2015. Returned from an absence on yard debut three weeks ago and was soon tailed off.

Forecasts
A Montmartre (6/4), Hermarna (6/4), Kaspian Tern (5/1), Maggie's Dawn (12/1), Actonetaketwo (25/1), Spanish Queen (25/1)
A MONTMARTRE cost her connections €33,000 and they will be hoping she can land this as there will be few easier opportunities to recover some of the outlay. She has faced much sterner tests than this to date and her Flat form in France suggests she may possess too much speed for these. Her Plumpton third last month looks good enough to take this. Hermarna has not really adapted to this game but has winning form on the level. This is a lot easier than when chasing home the useful Secret Door last time and blinkers are now applied. The rest are a poor lot and Kaspian Tern may have enough about her to finish third.
