Remains a maiden after 16 races and has squandered easier opportunities than this. Makes AW debut and hard to build a case in his favour.
Sliding down the weights and will find this 7f easier than at Newcastle last time. Winner and second on two previous visits here and respected with latest run indicating he was on the way back.
Not as good on his last three starts now handicapper has caught up with him and with yard having found winners harder to come by of late.
Down to his last winning mark having been well beaten over 6f last time. Back to best trip here but yet to convince he is approaching the levels achieved last summer.
Has four wins on this surface. Has been campaigning over shorter recently but has previous place form over this longer trip. This mark has looked beyond him of late but trainer's horses have been denying the handicapper for several weeks. Remains of interest although others are preferred.
Has two wins over C&D and not disgraced last time from an unhelpful draw. Another rise in the weights demands a career best but remains hard to rule out.
Won a maiden here but form here has been patchy since and has looked better at Southwell. Up to a trip where he has been ineffective in the past.
Has been holding his form well despite the attentions of the handicapper. Triple C&D winner but another rise in the weights may have dampened his prospects.
Has pinched two races from the front in the last month but will face more competition for the lead this time. Not as well drawn this time in what looks a better race.
Winner of a couple of races on this surface at Newcastle last autumn. Not disgraced here a month ago when denied a clear run and missed the break at Catterick last time. Style of running suggests he will be better on stiffer tracks than this. With plenty of pace on offer he could find some of these beyond him by the time he finds top gear.

Kingsley Klarion (3/1), Capolavoro (4/1), Tavener (5/1), Slingsby (6/1), Faintly (13/2), Haraz (8/1), Athassel (12/1), Wink Oliver (16/1), Big Amigo (20/1), Mezmaar (25/1), Corporal Maddox (25/1)
Capolavoro, Wink Oliver and Tavener have been running well and moving up the handicap at a rate of knots as a result. KINGSLEY KLARION is passing them on the way down and comes into this having posted his best effort for a year last time. His best form has been over shorter and recent runs over this trip have been on more testing circuits. A 3lb drop in the weights following that encouraging run last time gives him a chance to gain an overdue win.
