Wye Valley Brewery 'Confined' Handicap Chase

Out of sorts when last seen but looks a spring horse and won here twice at this time last year, the latter from 9lb lower. Ran well in Listed company from this mark earlier in the season and with his yard in form he looks capable of a big run today.

Yet to win from 11 starts, but has put in some respectable efforts in defeat, including when runner-up here in a maiden hurdle last season. On same mark today as when runner-up at Stratford in October, so if in the same form he has claims.

Southwell handicap chase winner last year from 3lb higher and is therefore capable from this mark today, but recent efforts have not been encouraging and looks best watched for now.

Rsised 2lb for his last effort but still races from out of the handicap here. Consistent in stringing together a series of placed efforts, but thoroughly exposed and again likely to find one too good.

10lb out of the handicap and has shown nothing like what will be required to win this for almost two years. Looks best watched.

Has not won since December 2013, though still 2lb higher than that today. Has run some decent races from this mark sporadically since that latest success, but clearly carries a health warning from way out of the handicap.
