Unraced Robin Des Champs gelding. Half-brother to point-to-point and bumper winner Wilms Warrior and worth a check in the market on debut here.

Fell early on when making his debut in a point-to-point at Charing in February. Ran well to finish 9¼L third in a bumper on good-to-firm ground at Plumpton last month and interesting if repeating that effort today.

Successful in a point-to-point on soft ground at the third time of asking last month. Subsequently purchased for £12,000 and interesting to see how he fares in this 2m contest.
Unraced Getaway gelding purchased for €40,000 ass a three-year-old in 2015. Half-brother to multiple winners Kilcarry Bridge and New Kid In Town and worth a check in the market on debut.

Unraced son of Ballingarry and a half-brother to a number of jumps winners including Grade 2 winner Tatenen. Interesting if attracting market support ahead of his racecourse debut.

Purchased for just €10,000 as a foal but ran well enough in finishing 12L third of five on soft ground at Ffos Las to suggest he can be competitive in a race of this nature with yard having a 50% strike-rate from just four runners of late.
Unraced son of Fuisse who cost €20,000 at the sales in 2016. Half-brother to hurdle winner Peruvien Bleu and interesting for a yard who's horses are running well at present (13/54).
Unraced son of Kalanisi purchased for just €5,000 at the sales last August. Dam a maiden after six career outings and worth a check in the market ahead of his debut.
Successful in a point-to-point on soft-to-heavy in Ireland 12 months ago and ran well on her debut for this yard when third at Ascot in February. Beaten 20L next time out and interesting to see how she handles the predicted ground today with her best form so far coming with plenty of cut in the ground.

Forecasts

Not That Fuisse (9/2), Equus Amadeus (5/1), All Currencies (5/1), Supakalanistic (6/1), Balach Mor (6/1), Tanacando (7/1), Royal Escape (9/1), Quick Pick (10/1), Mercy Mercy Me (10/1), Ballintara (20/1)

Verdict

Trainer Tom Lacey is in excellent form at present and his EQUUS AMADEUS can follow up a promising debut at Ffos Las by taking this bumper. The selection is likely to be racing on better ground here and can see of the newcomer Not That Fuisse who hails from another yard in form while the Plumpton third Ballintara can claim third on his second outing in this sphere.
  1. Equus Amadeus
  2. Not That Fuisse
  3. Ballintara
