Winner off a 4lb lower mark on his penultimate outing at Market Rasen in December. Well beaten at Haydock upped to 2m7f for the first time earlier this month on his only subsequent start and drops back in trip today.
Successful twice so far including on good ground in a maiden hurdle at Huntingdon 11 months ago. Well beaten at Doncaster off this mark in February and probably better judged on his second at the same track the previous month.
Maiden after 11 outings. Best effort so far came when finishing runner-up off a 2lb lower mark over an extended 2m3f at Ascot (good) in October. Pulled up off this mark upped in trip at Doncaster last time out and this drop back in distance should suit.
Rattled off a quick hat-trick in this sphere in the autumn concluding with a success off a mark of 106 on good ground at Plumpton in November. Well beaten a week later off a 3lb lower mark than he races off here. Heavy ground on that occasion likely against him and likely to play a leading role following a break.
Winner on his fourth outing for this yard in an extended 2m handicap at Bangor (good-to-soft) last month. That success came off a mark of 109 and he remains unexposed following a 5lb rise with his yard in good form at present (13/54).
Ran his best race of the season when finishing runner-up in a first time visor off a 5lb lower mark at Exeter (good-to-soft) over an extended 2m2f a month ago. Yet to win in ten starts however and interesting to see if the visor has the same effect here.
Finished 13L second on soft ground over an extended 2m3f on soft ground at Doncaster last month. Well beaten at Uttoxeter subsequently and an interesting runner here off a 4lb lower mark than for that Doncaster effort.
Well held in four outings since finishing third of eight to Black Valentine at Wincanton in November. Last two of those efforts have been in handicap company and has a bit to prove at present.
The odd sign of promise in six starts to date. Has taken a keen hold in his races in the past and beaten 28L on soft ground at Ludlow last time out. Returns to 2m3f today (beaten 46L over this trip at Newbury in December) and worth a check in the market on handicap debut.

Forecasts
Atlantic Storm (3/1), The Tailgater (7/2), Saint Cajetan (6/1), Boy In A Bentley (8/1), Druid's Folly (8/1), Minstrel Royal (17/2), Chic Theatre (10/1), Earls Fort (11/1), Alpine Secret (12/1), Midnight Jitterbug (20/1)
The unexposed ATLANTIC STORM made a successful start to his handicap career when winning at Bangor last time out and he can follow up in this competitive looking 2m3f event. The step up in trip looks likely to suit the selection and he can get the better of Earls Fort who is seeking a fourth win of the season here and The Tailgater who can put a poor performance last time out behind him by finishing third.
- Atlantic Storm
- Earls Fort
- The Tailgater
