Has cut little ice since joining current yard having been trained previously in England by Henry Candy where he was useful over sprint distances. Needs to show more than of late to figure.
Step back up to 6f should help having rallied once outpaced over minimum trip last time out. Very progressive last term and, despite much higher mark this season, is one of the more likely sorts.
Improved last season but profile suggests he usually needs a run or two to bring him to concert pitch, so expected to be better for today's seasonal return.
Appears better on A/W that on turf judging on last season's evidence, and strong suspicion he may need handicapper's help before scoring on turf again.
Won at Limerick on turf last campaign and added another two A/W wins to tally this winter. Plenty fit enough if good enough but might find one or two too good here.
Impressive scorer at Naas recently over similar trip but handicapper took dim view and has raised him 9lb. Similar effort would see him go close but new mark has to be a concern.
Been knocking on the door on A/W this winter without getting his head in front , but will be fit and not readily discounted. Last turf success came at Gowran Park last June off 4lb higher mark.
Ran 4th in Stewards' Sprint at Goodwood last term when trained by Mick Channon. Appears to be talking time to settle into new surroundings and disapopinted both runs so far for new connections. Others make more appeal.
Interesting still unexposed 5-year-old having only his second start on turf. Fair form on A/W thus far and may well put in a good display on return from winter break.
Not disgraced in two starts so far this term and has been dropped 2lb. Young apprentice claims a further 10lb so connections appear to be giving him every chance to get competitive.
Won just once from 25 starts but went close on seasonal reappearance at Leopardstown and again ran creditably at Naas last time. Runs off 4lb higher mark now though which may hold him back.
Two wins at Fairyhouse last June and generally consistent for remainder of campaign. Now gelded and returns after 225 day absence. May improve for this outing.
Seven wins on the A/W but a maiden on turf after 15 attempts and would be surprise if able to get his head in front today back on turf in this competitive affair. Others preferred.
Narrowly beaten in four successive races on turf last term before breaking her maiden tag in Dundalk A/W race last September. Runs for first time in a handicap and looks a likely sort in a race where most of her irvals are fully unexposed.

HUNAINA is an interesting contender running in a handicap for the first time and taking on older horses. She remains relatively unexposed and her shrewd connections may well believe they have found her a decent opportunity. Tithonus looks as though he is close to concert pitch and should be on the premises once again, while Imagine If is a contender if reacting positively to the first-time headgear. Peticoat Goverment, Rapid Applause and Aggression are others with claims.
- Hunaina
- Aggression
- Tithonus
