Is the class of the race and more than capable when on a going day, and handicapper starting to give him a chance after being in his grip for a year or so now. Both trip and ground a slight concern though (hasn't appeared to get home at this trip on previous attempts) and others preferred.

Won a little race at Exeter last November but has looked a bit regressive since then, being a beaten favourite twice and pulling up at Taunton on his latest start (never travelled). Questions to answer now, although both trio and likely quick ground both fine.

In form and has gone well for his amatuer rider before, finishing a respectable third at Sandown (soft ground) earlier in the season. Has form on good ground and looks like this trip shoudn't be an issue, so has enough going for him to be of interest.

Has rather lost his form this winter but yard was going through a poor spell, and that's not the case now. Very well handicapped on the best of his form and rider has ridden a winner under Rules, but does have to prove suitability of quicker ground.. Too well handicapped to ignore.

More letters than numbers in his recent form, but is capable of the odd good effort and return to hurdles might well help his cause (makes too many mistakes over fences). Trip fine and a dangerous lurker at the foot of the handicap if he can refind his form.

Forecasts

Cousin Khee (9/4), Mighty Missile (11/4), Bistouri D'honore (11/4), Monderon (4/1), Baraymi (10/1), Mogestic (10/1)

Verdict

Only the six runners but this isn't easy, with all six having a question mark hanging over them as far as really quick ground is concerned. Baraymi is on a good-looking mark if he can refind his form, but similar comments apply to MONDERON and he's likely to appreciate this quicker ground more than most here. The cheekpieces that he ran well in at Leicester are back on and despite some moderate form figures, can spring a minor surprise. Mighty Missile should run his race and get in the money.
  1. Monderon
  2. Baraymi
  3. Mighty Missile
