Won well on his debut for his new yard and has been found a weak opening in his bid to follow up. The jockey's 7lb claim will be a big help if any of the rest can raise their game to challenge.

Goes well for today's rider and at least has some recent winning form to his name. Reverted to type after winning at Wolverhampton in February but this a weak looking contest and he has to make the shortlist in this company.

Been out of form for a while and has a bit to prove with Noah Amor on old form. Hard to see him figuring if the principle players hit the gates running.

Uninspiring form figures and her connections are obviously exasperated as to what to do with her next. The drop in class and trip combine to be a risky experiment from a betting perspective. One for the brave this time.

1-from-21 and is very hard to fancy unless the market suggest she is the preferred option form the stable's brace of contenders.

Not much to get enthusiastic about from his two previous starts. Qualifies for a handicap mark after this but will remain in the lowest grade unless his posts a dramatically improved performance.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-5| J: Ben Sanderson(7)| T: N Tinkler| OR:  46

Fitted with cheekpieces and has a 7lb claimer in the saddle, so has enough prompts to post an improved effort. But there's no hiding from the fact that her form has been poor up to press and she is very hard to recommend even at this lowly grade.

Debuts for a highly respected yard but not had too many excuses for her poor efforts up to date and she isn't too hard to leave out of the equation.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-5| J: Cam Hardie| T: B Haslam| OR:  46

Never finished better than mid-division in any of her previous races and would be nothing more than speculation to say the ease in grade and fitting of headgear will bring about sufficient improvement.

Forecasts

Noah Amor (11/8), Roaring Rory (9/4), Silhuette (11/2), Mr Skinnylegs (8/1), George Bailey (16/1), Flying Hope (20/1), Whispering Wolf (25/1), Violet Mist (50/1), Precious Skye (50/1)

Verdict

Giving weight away at any level is never easy but NOAH AMOR is unlikely to get an easier chance to tackle the burden and stands out as the most appealing choice in a modest bunch of performers. Roaring Rory is pretty frustrating but has held his form well enough to be considered as the biggest threat, whereas it's possible that Silhuette may appreciate the ease in grade enough to make it competitive for a place in the frame. Flying Hope is tried in new headgear and has the assistance of a capable 7lb claimer, so might be the best hope for a shock result.
  1. Noah Amor
  2. Roaring Rory
  3. Silhuette
