Lightly raced gelding and a 2L winner at Redcar on good ground five days ago. Also a winner on the AW at Newcastle in a six race career and likely to prove hard to beat carrying a 6lb penalty for that Redcar success.
Winner of a maiden over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton on his second outing last August. Well held over 1m2f returned to turf at Sandown (good) next time out and drops in trip here on his first run since being gelded.
Justified odds-on favouritism on first run since being gelded at Windsor in August. Followed that up with two close second's on the AW at Kempton. Disappointed the last twice and worth a check in the market.
Successful twice early last year over 6f. Handled the step up to 1m well when finishing runner-up at Newcastle on the AW in November. Interesting runner following a tenth placed finish at Doncaster earlier this month.
Five times a winner from 31 career starts. Successful at Bath on his penultimate outing off a 2lb lower mark on good-to-soft ground. Well beaten on the AW subsequently and debuts for a new yard here.
Victorious over 1m at Southwell in January and run some solid races in defeat since. Ran a good race when third of 14 off this mark over 1m at Pontefract (good) earlier this month and one for the shortlist here.
Both career wins have come in his last four outings including over an extended 1m at Windsor (soft) on his penultimate start. Ran well when ½L second on the AW at Kempton last time out but would probably appreciate softer underfoot conditions than are forecast here.
Sole success came over 1m4f at Wolverhampton 13 months ago. Has been racing over considerably shorter trips recently, including over 7f when twelfth last time out. Handicap mark falling and interesting if returning to form.
Failed to trouble the judge in three outings so far. Most recent of those came over 1m at Doncaster (good-to-firm) in June last year. Is a full-brother to the useful Wannabe Yours and worth a check in the market on handicap debut.
Finished 2½L fourth on his seasonal debut in a 15 runner contest at Redcar on good-to-firm ground earlier this month. Racing off a mark 5lb higher than when last successful but yard are in good form at present (13/61).
Maiden after six outings and put in a career best effort on first run since being gelded when finishing third of six on the AW at Lingfield last month. Having just his third start on turf (placed once) today.
Victorious twice from 16 starts but no win in his last 12 outings. Returned to the Flat having run in some good hurdle races this winter when finishing last of 11 at Kempton last month and more is needed here.
Likeable veteran with 11 wins to his name including a double at Musselburgh and Newmarket last summer. Off the same mark as when successful at the last named venue in August (good-to-firm) but has to put two poor runs in 2017 behind him today.
Registered his sixth win in 61 starts when winning by 5L in an amateur riders event at Chelmsford over 1m in February. Raced over 7f (twice) and an extended 1m2f since and interesting for a yard with a 32% strike-rate recently (10/31).

A change in tactics seemed to suit ROLLER when winning at Redcar victory earlier this week. The selection has raced close to the pace in the past but was held up on that occasion and looks capable of following up under a penalty here with similar tactics likely to be employed in this competitive 1m handicap.. Trainer Mick Easterby has his horses in good form and the selection has a good apprentice in the saddle once more and he can get the better of the well-related Wannabe Friends who makes his handicap debut and looks capable of better than he has shown so far while House Of Commons who usually races close to the pace and was a beaten favourite at Pontefract earlier this month can claim third ahead of Character Onesie who is another who looks capable of running well in this contest.
