Disappointed at Musselburgh in early March on his first hunter chase run of 2017. Subsequently registered an easy win under today's rider in a point-to-point at High Easter over this trip and always behind when pulling up at Aintree last time out. Likely to fair better returning to regulation fences here.
Made all when winning similar events on soft ground over 3m and an extended 2m6f at Wetherby and Leicester respectively earlier this season. Odds-on when pulling up at Ludlow last month and likely to prove hard to beat with a leading amateur in the saddle today.
Successful three times under rules and run well the last twice in point-to-point company. Finished runner-up in a three runner contest at Tabley (good) earlier this month but likely to find a few too good in this.
Winner of eight of his last nine starts (clear when unseating in the other) including on his chasing debut in a novice hunter chase at Catterick last month. Only previous efforts on the predicted good ground came over hurdles for previous stable and likely to run well in this.
Finished fifth in a similar race to this on his debut for this stable at Ludlow on good-to-soft ground earlier this month. Likely to have come on for that run but more needed here.
Finished third on each of his last two point-to-point outings. Odds-on favourite for the latest of those at Clifton-On-Dunsmore (good) earlier this month and shaped as if this drop in trip would suit though likely to be playing a minor role today.

GALWAY JACK can put a disappointing effort at Ludlow behind him by taking this hunter chase dropped in trip here. The selection is a C&D winner in handicap company and has a top amateur booked as he goes in search of his third hunter chase win of this season. Knocklong made a winning debut over regulation fences at Catterick last time out and has built up an enviable record in point-to-point company in the north in recent seasons and is taken to chase the winner home ahead of dual hunter chase winner Decade Player.
