Sole victory came under this rider at Towcester. That was a poor race and his lack of gears and a tendency to hang have proved his undoing since. Down to his last winning mark but remains hard to fancy.

Scored at Plumpton on Sunday, with the better ground and first time visor seemingly doing the trick. Turned out again quickly whilst in such good form and if the headgear works again, there seems no reason she won't be on the premises again. Shorter trip is a concern but trainer/jockey combination are 4-11 at the course.

Best form has come at Plumpton and his two latest runs there have been tame efforts. Hard to fancy now on a course where he has been beaten an aggregate of 94L in the two races he has managed to complete.

Forecasts

Lakeshore Lady (8/11), Brown Bear (6/4), Lake Chapala (9/4), Mr Bachster (11/2), Killabraher Cross (14/1)

Verdict

Mr Bachster likes it around here and the frustrating Brown Bear is reunited with his wining rider. On this occasion it may pay to side with the recent winners Lakeshore Lady and LAKE CHAPALA. Lakeshore Lady scored here last time when taking advantage of better ground and the fitting of a visor. Over a trip placing more emphasis on speed and with a 7lb penalty she will probably find LAKE CHAPALA too good. He has not always been trustworthy and has been beaten in sellers. A switch to Chris Gordon's yard has reaped dividends judged by a his career best effort on Sunday. If in the same mood he should possess too much speed for these.
  1. Lake Chapala
  2. Lakeshore Lady
  3. Mr Bachster
