One win and three placed efforts from seven AW starts, but not finding life easy off his current handicap mark and his two runs this spring suggest a revival is needed.
Equally at home on turf and AW, he was at his best last summer with victories here and at Leopardstown. Not in the same form when last seen in December, but a break might have freshened him up.
Four-time course winner who finished last of eight in March following a lay-off. At the age of eight, his powers might be waning.
Won a maiden over C&D in November, but has shown little since and others appeal more on recent form.
Likeable and consistent AW performer who won comfortably over C&D last month. Up 6lb for that, but dangerous to dismiss in his current mood.
Only two runs since winning a Limerick maiden last April. He beat only one horse in those outings and it is 11 months since he last ran. First run for his top jumps trainer and likely to need this.
Four wins from 13 AW starts and running well of late. Did little wrong on his last start in a C&D claimer and is one of the leading fancies under his top-class pilot.
Knows his way around this track and still performing with credit. Not quite so good last time, but is certainly not one to dismiss.
Ran well when runner-up over a mile here in February, and did not get the clearest of runs when fifth, not beaten far, over a mile on his next start. In good heart at present, he deserves a change of luck and can make a bold show.
Two wins from 19 runs on the AW, and some way short of his best on his last few starts. Gradually dropping down the weights.
Recovered to win well over 5f here on his latest start, having been campaigned over much further. Back up in distance, she can make her presence felt if in the same mood and effective at the trip.
Six pounds higher than when signing off last year with victory over a mile. Clearly likes this track and, assuming all is well after his break, he is one of the leading candidates for his top stable.
Has shown nothing in three starts for his current yard, including when pulled up last time. Impossible to fancy on those efforts.
C&D winner in December and far from disgraced since. Remains feasibly weighted and can get involved at the business end.
Forecasts
Arbourfield (3/1), Cresendo (7/2), Shelbe (7/1), Fastidious (8/1), Rosenborg Rider (10/1), Shabra Emperor (10/1), Victorious Secret (10/1), Secret Path (14/1), Voyageofdiscovery (16/1), Mai O'higgins (20/1), War Room (20/1), Strait Of Zanzibar (25/1), Colonel Maximus (25/1), Dark Amber (50/1)
CRESENDO looks progressive and can go in again for his leading yard. Voyageofdiscovery and Shabra Emperor have each-way claims.
