Winner over 1m5f on firm ground last August and ran well when finishing runner-up over the same C&D subsequently. Well beaten the last twice however including over hurdles last time out. Interesting runner in this.
Has been kept busy on the AW this winter and successful for this stable at Lingfield over 1m4f in January. Placed twice since but races off a mark 7lb higher than for his latest turf win here.
Pulled up in two runs since moving to this yard including on the AW at Wolverhampton earlier this month when the saddle slipped. Winner in first time blinkers over 1m2f in June last year but has stamina to prove in first time cheekpieces today.
Winner over 1m2f at Newcastle last month and not beaten far off her revised mark twice since. Looks likely to stay this trip though unproven on the predicted firm ground (handles good-to-firm).
Had just three runs for this stable in 2016 and finished well beaten each time. Won off an 18lb higher mark over 1m2f in May 2015 but a bit prove with cheekpieces returning on his seasonal debut today.
Well beaten in all five outings to date including in handicaps the last three times. Wore a hood (left off here) for his return to action at Kempton earlier this month and probably best watched here.
Running well enough on the AW this winter to suggest she's capable of winning soon. Wore a first time visor (retained here) when running a close fourth in a selling handicap over 1m4f at Wolverhampton earlier this month and likely to prove very hard to beat in this.
Forecasts
Attain (5/2), Spirit Of The Vale (11/4), Captain George (9/2), Cold Fusion (5/1), Avocadeau (7/1), Cockney Boy (16/1), Lady Rocka (16/1)
COLD FUSION can claim this contest following a solid effort when finishing fourth in a 1m4f selling handicap at Wolverhampton earlier this month. The filly races off a mark 13lb lower than for her sole success and receives weight from all of her rivals here. Captain George finished runner-up over 1m5f here off a 2lb lower mark back in September and should be fit for this following an outing over hurdles last month and can claim second ahead of Attain who wasn't beaten far at Lingfield on the AW on his penultimate outing.
- Cold Fusion
- Captain George
- Attain
