Won a Warwick Listed mares' contest in February (2m5f, heavy). 3lb lower than her rating that day entering this and already has a C&D win to her name. Competitive.
Landed a Grade Two mares' contest at Sandown in February 2016 (2m4f, heavy) when with Harry Fry and has gradually been more competitive as this season has gone on since joining current top stable. Gave 2L to Ron's Dream but succumbed by 6L at Warwick and now has 4lb pull. Not ruled out in first-time headgear.
Without a win since January of last year but only lightly-raced since and competitive in similar company. Should be in the mix from today's mark and has each-way claims.
Won handicaps at both Fontwell and Wetherby earlier in the season, the latter from 12lb lower than today. Has been competitive in Grade Two and Listed contests since and with her rider's claim she should be a leading contender this afternoon.
2lb higher than when landing a Stratford handicap hurdle last summer when with Dan Skelton. Marked loss of form since then and now changed yards. Cheek pieces fitted for first time today, but hard to fancy in such a competitive event given recent CV.
Won this race last year from 4lb higher (good), but has lost form since. Clearly capable of winning again if able to recapture her best, but that most be open to question for now.
Won by a wide margin over 3m1½f at Catterick (soft) in February. That was in a mares novices' contest. Out of her depth in a Grade Two last time out, but this is more like it. Handicapper has dropped her 2lb and yard does well with its mares, so this is very much one to check on in the market.
Seeking a four-timer after a 27lb rise for wins at Market Rasen, Taunton and most recently at Kempton. All those successes were on good ground but she stays well and is clearly in tremendous form. Short-listed.
Has won six of her last eight dating back to 2014, including three from four this season. Up 15lb since the campaign began, stays well and handles any ground. Held from this mark last time, so needs to improve to take this.
Won a Southwell novices' contest (1m7½f, good) in November and just touched off from a mark of 121 at Doncaster in January. Has put in two respectable efforts since then and arguably she remains unexposed in handicap company. Should go close.
Completed a hat-trick in staying events on the Flat last summer and was at it again with another win over an extended 2m at Newcastle recently. Up 3lb since going close over hurdles at Market Rasen last time and should again be thereabouts.
Won a maiden hurdle over 2m here (heavy) in February and not disgraced back in novices' company last time. Best form under rules has been on softer ground than forecast and this looks a tough enough ask from today's mark.
Disappointed on last couple of starts but stays 3m3f, will appreciate slightly better ground and if able to get back into some sort of form she would not be without a chance from this mark and with a feather weight.
Forecasts
Rons Dream (5/1), Timeforwest (5/1), Happy Diva (11/2), Debdebdeb (6/1), Cajun Fiddle (8/1), Stoneham (9/1), Jessber's Dream (9/1), Nordic Nymph (11/1), Elusive Theatre (16/1), Same Circus (16/1), Jennys Melody (50/1), Bon Chic (50/1), Wyfield Rose (66/1)
Rons Dream is fancied to confirm her superiority over Jessber's Dream at today's weights and both should be very competitive. Debdebdeb and Cajun Fiddle are others up for serious consideration, though preference is for HAPPY DIVA, who has progressed well this season and looks capable of picking up this nice prize.
- Happy Diva
- Rons Dream
- Cajun Fiddle
