Irish raider who comes here in form after seeing off a big field on heavy ground at Navan last time. Switches to novices' company from that maiden and can be competitive under his penalty, though may find a couple too good.
Well placed to win three of his five career starts, including two similar contests at Wincanton and Newbury, the latter on good to soft. Shoulders penalties as a result, but further improvement likely and looks a leading player.
Either side of a Hereford flop he has put together some good form, winning at both Wetherby on debut and then last time under a penalty by a wide margin at Bangor over a similar trip. Both wins on good to soft. A leading contender.
Won a Newbury bumper and a Huntingdon maiden hurdle so far, though his best effort by some margin was when fourth (beaten 8L) to Willoughby Court in the Grade One Neptune at Cheltenham last time. Looks the one to beat on the evidence of that.
Cork bumper winner who scored on his debut for this yard in an Exeter maiden hurdle (2m7f, soft), though well beaten at Doncaster in Grade Two company last time. Tongue strap now added. Can do better and no reason why he can't be competitive.
Likeable mare with three wins to her name for her last five outings, including in a handicap last time. Acts with some juice in the ground though does have a fair bit to find with the leading two or three here.
Forecasts
Burbank (6/4), Give Me A Copper (9/4), Some Invitation (11/2), Sir Antony Browne (8/1), Kelka (17/2), Jimmy Breekie (33/1)
A competitive opener can go to BURBANK, whose Cheltenham Festival run is the best that any of these have achieved and if he comes here in the same form he will take some beating. Some Invitation is open to a fair bit more improvement and can give the selection a bit to think about, while Give Me A Copper and Sir Antony Browne are others likely to get involved.
