Two of his three wins have been on a sound surface. Worth another try at this trip having been placed over 3m here in heavy ground as a hurdler. Beaten by two well supported horses in his last two starts and is given a chance to run off the same mark here.
Placed in an Irish point-to-point and ran well over hurdles around here. Showed improved form on chase debut to follow home a useful sort over C&D. Lost his rider early last time but has an excellent chance to make amends.
Infrequent winner who is prone to errors. A line through Bells of Ailsworth gives him a lot to find with Gold Mountain. Yard are 1-31 in last fortnight.

GOLD MOUNTAIN is open to further improvement having looked a future winner on his chasing debut behind the useful Bells Of Ailsworth here in February. He jumped well that day so it was surprise to see him lose his rider next time. His rivals have some questions to answer with Golanova and Duke Arcadio looking unreliable. The Italian Yob will prove more of a threat. He has gone well around here over hurdles and has been unlucky to find well supported horses too good for him at Fontwell on his last two starts.
