Braventara and Canoodle have enough question marks against them to suggest that LISTEN TO THE MAN is the one to be on. Braventara has been running over considerably further and may want slower ground. She has only won a three-runner race where her two rivals ran below par. Canoodle receives the maiden's allowance in this and meets her rivals on better terms than if this were a handicap. She may have some issues which will be tested if Braventara goes off hard from the front. LISTEN TO THE MAN looks less complicated and has shown a liking for the underfoot conditions. Her form is flawed, and she may not be one to take a short price on, but she looks the most obvious answer to a tricky opener.
