Surprise winner of his hurdling debut for this stable last November but well beaten in a Listed event subsequently. Better effort last time out when runner-up at Hereford despite finishing 37L behind an odds-on winner and interesting in this.
Winner on debut in a bumper at Ayr 12 months ago but disappointing in three outings since. Represents top connections here and yard going well at present (12/45) and every chance he's capable of better.
Recorded his first placing when finishing runner-up at Newbury in December but disappointed upped to this trip at Ludlow subsequently. Returns from over two months off the track today.
Well beaten in two novice hurdles since a promising bumper debut at Plumpton in November. Most recent of those efforts came over C&D a month ago and not written off just yet.
Well held in two novice hurdles to date including at Ludlow in December when last in action. Wears a visor for the first time today.
Showed promise on debut in a bumper at Southwell last june but well beaten three times since including twice over hurdles. Hood worn for all four previous starts is left off here.
Not beaten far in three of six hurdle races in France for previous yard. Latest of those came when 6L fourth in early December and makes his debut for this stable here.
Well beaten in both outings to date. Most recent of those came on hurdling debut over 2m here earlier this month and probably best watched at present.

GIBBES BAY has taken on some classy horses in his career so far, most notably when finishing behind a subsequent Grade 1 winner on his hurdling debut at Hereford in December. The selection ran well at Ascot last time out and can get the better of the penalised Finula who was successful in a maiden hurdle back in November with the Nicky Henderson pair Le Dauphin and Millzipa likely to prove best of the rest.
