Well beaten in a bumper at Leopardstown on debut, though has shown some hints of better to come in two maiden hurdles.

Made a promising start in this sphere at Punchestown on New Year's Eve when third, beaten just 3L. Hasn't built on that in two subsequent runs, most recent of which was very laboured.
Finished fourth, behind Chestnut Brave in third to the tune of 12L, on debut at Punchestown on New Year's Eve, this requires a good leap forward on that effort.

No match for winner at Wexford on debut last month, though finished clear of Countess Cathleen in third, and there may be more in the offing yet.

Won a point-to-point at the third time of asking last month in good style, could be up to running well now on rules debut.
Oscar mare cost €19,000 as a 3-y-o and is coming to the track for the first time but this looks a tough enough assignment for her.

Mahler mare was an inexpensive purchase and while she represents a yard with a 16 per-cent strike rate in this sphere over the last 12 months, she doesn't appeal for this debut run.

Well held on recent debut at Navan but is one of two for trainer in this and Codd stays loyal.

Was beaten 30L in this contest a year ago, faring little better at Wexford in June and been off the track since.

Beaten out the gate on debut at Navan 17 days ago, she can only do better this time surely but makes no appeal on the back of that lacklustre effort.
A Byron mare out of an unraced dame, makes little appeal on paper for this debut run and likely to hold similar lure in the betting.

Not disgraced in three bumper appearances so far, could well have place claims in a field like this.

Yard aren't noted for bumper winners these days and this Slickly filly would only become interesting here if the market was to speak in her favour.

Ran well enough over 2m around here jumping hurdles recently to suggest she'll be capable of improving on sole previous bumper run.

Arakan fill is likely to have fairly limited aspirations ahead of this first trip to the racecourse, may want further stamina test in time.

Dalouga
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: Ms L O'Neill(5)| T: G Elliott
7/1
A Stowaway filly, she is nicely related to a few winners and represents Ireland's leading jumps trainer so far this season. Has to be respected on debut and interesting to observe how the market judges her against stablemate Penny Jane.
No match for Fayonagh on debut over this C&D in February, a race that has worked out very well. Improved to clear second at Down Royal last month and claims of going one better now.

Verdict

Penny Jane was a bit disappointing at Navan on debut but may be capable of better, while stablemate and newcomer Dalouga is also very much respected for the Elliott team. Half The Odds could have more to offer on second outing while Trumps Ace is capable of contending for a share of the spoils. RATOUTE YUTTY improved nicely last time at Down Royal and gave best only to a winner that got first run. She was clear of the remainder however and is up to the task of opening her account in a similar field sooner rather than later.
  1. Ratoute Yutty
  2. Dalouga
  3. Trumps Ace
