20/1
Previous C&D winner, hasn't run since finishing third in a Hunter Chase here a year ago, beaten just under 7L. Doesn't have a terrific record when fresh.

Mount Colah17
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-9| J: Mr N McParlan(3)| T: S McParlan| OR:  143
3/1
First start for this trainer but on ratings he is very much the one to beat in this field, hasn't run under rules since May but fit from recent point-to-point outing.
3
Horse silk
10/3
Prolific point-to-point winner (seven) but hasn't scored in nine tries over regulation obstacles. Talented rider and very one of the likely principles in this field.
4

Dantes King15
Age: 12|  Weight: 11-5| J: Mr R Kavanagh(7)| T: R O'Sullivan| OR:  120
8/1
Point-to-point winner last month, got rid of his rider at the first fence when making first start for this trainer in a Hunter Chase at Huntingdon 15 days ago.

Frontier Dancer9
Age: 13|  Weight: 11-5| J: Mr N Gault(7)| T: H Smyth| OR:  108
40/1
Regular point-to-point runner was disappointing under rules in similar event to this at Gowran Park last month, bit to find with some of these rivals potentially.

Heaney9
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-5| J: Mr J J Codd| T: B R Hamilton| OR:  116
5/2
First start for this yard when returning from 300 days off with runner-up finish in a point-to-point at Bellurgan Park a week ago and has an excellent jockey booking to boost chances in this field.
7
Horse silk
9/2
Another prolific winning point-to-point performer, scored in one of these contests at Down Royal on St Patrick's Day in decisive fashion. This might be tougher but has his chance.

Forecasts

Heaney (5/2), Mount Colah (3/1), B L Swagger (10/3), Maple Mons (9/2), Dantes King (8/1), Drawn N Drank (20/1), Frontier Dancer (40/1)

Verdict

MOUNT COLAH has every right to be winning this based on ability and he looks capable of a winning return to the track on first outing for this trainer. B L Swagger is a prolific scorer in point-to-points though hasn't yet scored under rules, while Maple Mons is also a regular winner in that sphere and did get the job done last month at Down Royal in this class. Heaney is also likely to have a say under the excellent guidance of Jamie Codd.
  1. Mount Colah
  2. Maple Mons
  3. Heaney
