French Flat winner who made a bright start on these shores winnng on debut over hurdles at Kempton 15 months ago. Has been on the slide since then and continues to plumet in the weights. Slightly better last time on first chase attempt and not completely discounted.
Didn't appear to take to fences at Hereford in December when well beaten and jumped moderately. Quicker surface may help, but with just one place from 10 career starts is hard to enthuse over.
Veteran mare who has seven career wins to her name. Has tumbled down the weights this season over hurdles and switches back to fences now for the first time simnce October '15. Likes decent ground though and if recpaturing a little form could be in with every chance.
Modest hurdler has won 5 times in that sphere nontheless. Pulled up on only chase attempt one year ago but scored last time over timber and at least knows how to put his head in front. Question marky over ground and larger obstacles though.
Winning point-to-point but has shown nothing under rules in recent seasons, pulling up in three of his last four starts. Appears of little account these days and hopes appear to rest on first-time blinkers waking him up.
Fair runner-up at Taunton last month and ran well over today's C&D when third on this card 12 months ago. Handles quickish ground and far more consistent than most of his rivals so certainly in with a shout.

A chance is taken that the return to a quicker surface will serve the mare CRUISE IN STYLE well, along with her running off a falling handicap rating. Edeiff's Lad rates a danger having finished third in this race 12 months ago and h eagain shaped satisfactorily when runner-up last time out. Karl Marx won over timber last time but the return to fences is something of a question mark, but if top weight Seven Kingdoms handles conditions he is handicapped to run well on old form, although there have been precious few signs of a revival of late.
