Carries 7lb penalty for win over 3m at this track last week. Steps up 6f in trip now, but with only two rivals and a tactical race in prospect may see the race out well enough if recovered from last week's exertions.
Two wins from 10 career starts, including staying handicap hurdle at Huntingdon last season. Hasn't shone for switch to fences this term but has dropped 17lb and is well handicapped if recapturing a bit of old form. Should stay, but quick ground is a poser.
Back under rules after three unsuccessful starts in point-to-points. Won Exeter 3m novices handicap chase last term on easy ground and pulled up on his final start last campaign on surafce similar to today's. Likes this track but ground is a big concern.

Assuming that ONLY GORGEOUS is none the worse for his win 7 days ago he looks the likeliest answer to a puzzle of a race. All three runners are untested over this marathon trip and on ground this quick, so the form book might end up being thrown out of the window. On balance though he should get the better of Bronco Billy who is on a downward spiral this season, and Railway Storm, beaten in point-to-points recently but not without hope at a track that suits.
