Joined current yard from Godolphin for £5,000 in November. Had just the one in their colours in an ordinary Kempton maiden in 2015. Best watched here.

Shaped well on debut at Chelmsford but this may prove to be a better race. Dam won four races between 6f-7f and he clearly possesses ability. In good hands and will be winning races.

Cost 420,000 guineas being out a Listed winning sprinter. Positively ridden when just touched off over 7f last time and similar tactics could reap dividends now dropping in trip.

Proved frustrating last season and worst effort came on sole AW start. Drops in distance and blinkers now fitted. Rider 8-36 for a yard who are yet to get going.

Cost 220,000 GNS as a yearling and full-brother to top-class 5f-7f winner Equiano plus half-brother to five other winners. Has obviously thrived over the winter judged by his reappearance at Leicester. Must have a big chance with the promise of more to come.

BHA rating of 63 gives her plenty to find on her reappearance. Future will lie in handicaps and would be no surprise to see her pop up at Bath or Chepstow in the near future.

Well beaten on both starts to date and impossible to fancy against some promising types. Unlikely the hood will produce the improvement required.

Verdict

This is a hot maiden for the track. Farook will again go off hard and this trip could be what he needs. Hydroxide looked a future winner on his debut and sets a good standard but he has disappointed before and his stable are not yet firing. In contrast Richard Hannon has been doing well with his three-year-old maidens and may have found the right opportunity for MOSTAHEL to open his account. He chased home a promising Godolphin horse last time when easy to back. He will be more forward now and can start to live up to his illustrious pedigree.
