Won over 2m at Wexford off a mark off 109 last month, though has struggled to back that up in two outings since, including back there last week over 3m1f. Drops in trip but has questions over him.
Failed to complete in three previous runs, with two falls. Granted, they were in better races than this but hard to be confident in him right now.
Scored in novice company over 2m at Down Royal in January but unable to justify market position at Naas the following month in a better race when tackling this trip. Needs to bounce back.
Scored in a beginners contest at Wexford in October, disappointing over this trip at Navan in December when last spotted in a handicap and be seen to best effect when facing a more searching test of stamina.
Pleasing attitude to score first time up over fences at this track over 2m5f in January. There could easily be more to come and this looks an open contest.
Ex-Gordon Elliott runner, scored on chase debut at Wexford (3m1f) in July, before failing to justify favouritism at Tramore the following month. First run for this trainer now and merits considering if there is any market confidence.
Lightly-raced eight-year-old defied late error to score at Gowran Park in February over this trip. C&D winner over hurdles a year ago and open to better despite 7lb rise.
Showed some promise in two chase starts last summer, though much less so when fancied at Galway in October and hasn't run since. This looks a steep enough ask on return.
Yet to score in seven starts over fences, beaten favourite previous two when finishing second at Down Royal and Navan over this trip. Has his chance again here for leading trainer and rider.
Went close in five-runner beginners' chase at Navan early last month over this trip and since boosted confidence with hurdles success at Wexford. May have more to offer.
Has made just five starts under rules and little evidence to suggest this seven-year-old possesses the ability to win here. Pulled up over 3m at Naas last month in a handicap chase.
Good second in a beginners' at Thurles recently over 2m6f, drops in trip but holds fair claims of going one better. Should be involved in the finish at any rate.
Comfortably beaten off over this trip at Navan on the first of the month, record stands at 0-10 over fences, cheekpieces return but looks booked for minor role again.

In an open contest it might be worth siding with CLONTARF to build on his course success in January. That was his first time jumping fences and the slight drop in trip shouldn't inconvenience him now. With the scope to do better, he has every right to play a leading role in this. Inis Meain settled for second at Thurles last time out and is also dropping back slightly in trip but should go well while Crosshue Boy is also fancied to build on a positive chase debut last month having since boosted confidence by winning over timber. Crest has had his chances already but cannot be discounted while former stablemate Cogryhill could run well on first outing for Tony Martin. Killaro Boy won at Gowran Park recently when meeting these obstacles for the third time and likes it around here too.
