Five pounds higher than when just touched off at Bangor last time, he looks vulnerable, but is blinkered for the first time in a bid to counter his weight rise.
Has won two of his last three starts, so is clearly on the upgrade. Seven pounds higher than when successful at Catterick last time, though, and has plenty to do.
Won two handicap hurdles in October, and was far from disgraced when second at Bangor in December. Has not been seen since so his well being has to be taken on trust.
A gusty winner when landing some good bets at Uttoxeter last time, he is up 6lb. That race was on soft ground, but he acts on a sounder surface and is respected.
Has not been in the winner's enclosure since successful at Market Rasen in May, last year. Beaten off this mark on his last four starts, he has shown little to suggest he can reverse the trend.
Returned from a lay-off of over fourth months when only seventh of nine at Bangor three weeks ago. Connections will hope the first-time visor works the oracle.
Reliable sort whose consistency means he gets little respite from the handicapper. Acts on a decent surface and clearly has place claims once again.
Often hits the frame, but continues to get little respite from the handicapper and there are others with much stronger claims.
Only one win in 17 races over hurdles, but that came at Plumpton two starts ago. Well beaten at Fontwell last time, he looks to have his work cut out.
Lightly-raced sort who boasts two wins from seven outings over timber. Last seen when winning at Market Rasen on New Year's Day, he is only 5lb higher here and must enter calculations for his top stable.
Consistent handicapper who won twice in January and has run well in two subsequent contests. The handicapper may just have his measure for the time being, though.
Beaten a long way on his last two starts and needs to return to the form of his win at Kempton in October to enter the equation. Effective on a sound surface and not without hope if back to his best.
Has not won since November 2014, and it is unlikely he will be doing so in a race of this nature.

Fortunate George (10/3), Some Are Lucky (13/2), Wicked Willy (7/1), Behind Time (7/1), Sam Red (8/1), Cooking Fat (10/1), Midnight Shot (10/1), Young Dillon (11/1), Kelvingrove (12/1), Chic Theatre (12/1), Eminent Poet (12/1), Leith Hill Lad (16/1), City Supreme (18/1), Arthurs Secret (20/1), Millanisi Boy (20/1), Boruma (40/1)
The interesting one here is BEHIND TIME, who looked a horse with real potential earlier in the season, sports cheekpieces for the first time and has Barry Geraghty on board. Chic Theatre is still unexposed and can go well, while Fortunate George and Some Are Lucky can make their presence felt.
